Mike McInnerney spent several weeks in 2010, the first summer we opened to the public, painting his tree portraits on the footpaths around Kestle Barton; many followed him and admired the series of work he made.
The following year two of the much loved gouaches from the related exhibition Routes & Branches: Mike McInnerney Paints Live at Helford (28 Aug – 18 Sep 2010) were made available as limited edition prints at an affordable price.
These prints can be seen framed on display in our Snack Shack in the garden at Kestle Barton and have come to be treasured by many visitors as part of the Kestle Barton imagery.
