Your Wedding
Kestle Barton is available for wedding parties. We have a magnificent wildflower meadow which is a perfect setting for your marquee, gardens for your guests to enjoy and very stylish and comfortable accommodation for you and your special guests.

Wildflower Meadow
The wildflower meadow offers an idyllic spot for a wedding marquee, with beautiful scenery and easy vehicle access to the site.  The meadow is carpeted with yellow cowslips in May and April, while the adjacent apple orchard trees are covered in fresh spring blossoms and the Amelanchier trees flower in the garden. Further yellow flowers such as lady’s bedstraw, birdsfoot trefoil and buttercups appear before the meadow becomes a sea of white daisies in June and early July.  The flowering season ends with purple knapweed and yarrow later in the month. From August the meadow is increasingly filled with grasses and still teeming with butterflies. A mown path leads from the meadow into the garden that reaches its peak of colour and height of flowers in mid July, and carries on right through September to the end of the season.

The Gallery Garden
The gallery garden is a perfect place for wedding photos as well as providing a lovely experience for guests. The garden was designed by James Alexander Sinclair and moves through various stages throughout the season. Beautiful swathes of yellows, pinks, purples and whites dominate the garden once it starts to come into bloom.  Circular lawns and high growing hornbeam hedges create secret spaces for the bride and groom to hide away for a romantic moment alone during the festivities. Large artichoke globes, purple fennel and rose hips are some of the culinary plants adding extra texture and taste to the garden.

Accommodation
The cluster of barns at Kestle Barton that comprise the original farmstead offer ideal accommodation for wedding parties. Howthere is perfect for the honeymoon couple – a spacious, yet intimate, apartment for two overlooking the garden through tall glass patio doors. The other apartments hold up to 26 people and enable everyone to be together while still having room to relax and unwind. For larger numbers the surrounding area has further options to make sure everyone who wishes can be staying nearby. The Kestle Barton accommodation has large kitchens, sitting rooms and outdoor spaces that provide many possibilities for informal group gatherings throughout your stay.
