This one-day workshop provides an opportunity to see the new photographic exhibition at Kestle Barton by Oliver Udy and Colin Robins: Anthology of Rural Life – Farmers of The Lizard (15 June – 1 September 2024). The photographers will briefly introduce the exhibition and the Anthology of Rural Life project and will answer any questions people might have.
The day will then focus on practical photography where there will be the opportunity for everyone to make a portrait using a 10×8 large format camera. The resulting black and white paper negatives will be developed and printed in an improvised darkroom at Kestle Barton and available to take away.
The day should be informative, memorable and great fun.
