During this workshop Carol will lead you into the garden and meadow to find, identify and learn about some common but powerful healing plants. Back at the workshop you will blend a herbal tea using your choice of wild and garden dried plant material.Tasting bitter and mucilaginous herbs, supplied by Carol, you will learn how these work in the body and when to use them.
Carol Thorogood Dip H.M. Bsc (Hons), MNIMH, is a Medical Herbalist living and working in Falmouth. A passionate plantswoman, forager, grower of food and medicine maker, she helps to connect plants with people through her clinical practice and herb walks. She is a graduate of Heartwood with a distinction in Herbal Medicine and a member of the National Institute of Medicinal Herbalists, the UK’s leading professional body of herbal practitioners.
