2019 Volunteer Garden Day

Thank you all so much for your hard work and great support!

It was a very good day and the garden looked fantastic this morning when we arrived. We are delighted with the way it all looks to kick off our season.

Open invitation to all to join us on 9 April 2019 for the next Volunteer Garden Day, just before we re-open. It will be a great day of communal weeding, followed by a delicious lunch… and then more communal weeding…

Help us start next season with a flourish of fun activity to shake off the winter and usher in the new Spring.

‘I had to drag myself away from Kestle Barton this afternoon – it had been such a lovely day and blessed by gorgeous sunshine (the North Coast was in heavy rain by the time I was nearing home!).

It was great to be part of your gardening team for the day, and I so enjoyed meeting everyone and finally getting myself down to KB, having been planning on doing so for far too long!

You have created a magical place, it really has a very special feel – intimate, welcoming, beautifully restored and with a strong creative energy. My biggest regret is that you’re not on my doorstep, but I am already planning a return visit, perhaps after Easter.’ Kathy B (2019 Garden Volunteer)
