Shortlisted for 2011 Green Apple Awards

21 March 2011: We were delighted to hear today that Kestle Barton has been shortlisted by The Green Organisation in their competition for The Green Apple Awards 2011 in The Built Environment section. Our bio-mass boiler, rainwater harvesting and use throughout the rebuilding process of environmentally friendly materials all supported our entry.

Mike McInnerney spent several weeks last summer painting his tree portraits on the footpaths around Kestle Barton; many followed him and admired the series of work he made. Now, two of the much loved gouaches from the related exhibition Routes & Branches: Mike McInnerney Paints Live at Helford (Kestle Barton, 28 Aug-18 Sep 2010) are available as limited edition prints at an affordable price.
